Bio

I have almost 20 years across drug development, market analysis, consulting and pharma strategy. This gives me a firm understanding of what it takes to bring therapies to market, and also knowledge of the pain points that are felt most. This shapes how I want to deploy AI to add genuine value, rather than just complexity.

What makes Norstella’s AI different?

Our AI is powered by the industry’s most comprehensive dataset – I should know as I have unfettered access to it. We can already draw insights from across the pipeline to patient journey that no one else can, and AI only deepens this competitive advantage.

What can pharma teams do now that was not possible two years ago?

The biggest leap I have seen is understanding how patients show up in real life and then how to target them. There is a lot of nuance in bridging the gap between the perfect clinical trial and the messy reality of how patients are actually treated. AI can make this gap understandable, structured, and therefore open to improvement.

How can AI accelerate the journey from pipeline to patient?

Every decision around trial design, portfolio investment and market access strategy takes time to get right. And every day, week, month or year added to the development timeline of a drug carries a huge opportunity cost.] AI helps us to make the right decisions based on all available data, which results in better therapies, developed more quickly, and with broader access. This ultimately creates a more sustainable pharmaceutical industry.
